Classes

C.R.C. primarily caters for two-wheel and four-wheel-drive 1:10 electric off-road buggies. Our recent events have also seen us cater for short course, stadium trucks in a combined class and most notably a vintage series & Losi bikes. Unfortunately, due to noise restrictions imposed we are unable to run nitro-powered cars.

Driver Etiquette

We aren’t ones for being stuffy! After all this is a hobby and is supposed to be fun. The main things are 

• Listen out for PA announcements
• Check your race order
• Listen out for your race
• Be on the line in good time and don’t forget to marshal
• No disappearing when its your turn or leaving early until all marshalling duties are finished
• It is very important to respect the marshals even if they are slow to pick your car up after you have crashed. They may have to be aware of other cars or tread carefully when the track is damp. Remember, it’s your fault if you crash, no shouting at marshals and keep the language clean.
• The club will not tolerate people abusing marshals, if you need the attention of a marshal call “Marshal” and say where your car is.
• Drivers are to stay on the rostrum until instructed to leave by the Race Director.
• Let faster cars through safely.
• Slower cars need to move off line or go wider into corners.
• Faster cars need to be patient and not drive through slower cars.
• Drivers need to slow down when there is a marshal on the track.
• If you crash in an area where you are causing a hazard i.e. the straight please call it – “car on the straight!”

Track layout

We are able to run a host of different and layouts and run in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. The track surface is made up of Astroturf.
